Honesty time: I've been struggling recently with my body. . I have maintained my weight loss for over 2 years now, with a couple blips of small regain (less than 10lbs) that I quickly get off. I comfortably wear most small or medium tops, but pants I wear anything ranging from 8-12, just depending on the cut and brand (I definitely still carry the most of my weight in my legs, and have a good amount of skin on my lower stomach/thighs.) . I have been decently happy with my body for the last 2 years. Of course there is always a nagging "well, losing 10 more pounds would be better..." but these last couple of years have been balanced - which you guys see! I travel and eat any food I want, I drink, I never limit my experiences. I balance that with making good choices most of the time, always keeping an eye on portions, and trying to stay generally active. Besides those blips where I am trying to lose a couple pounds to get back to my comfy zone - I don't stress about the gym or counting my calories. I simply use them as tools for keeping me on track and mentally and emotionally healthy. . I'm struggling right now with feeling happy with my body currently, but feeling like I should be wanting more. I recently unfollowed a few accounts that made me feel less than for not dedicating myself to the "fit life". They weren't giving me what I needed anymore, and were truly only filling my negative self talk. There is a lot of upheaval in my life right now, and a lot of upcoming changes and goals that I need to focus on. While I need to prioritize my health - I'm stuck struggling with the thought if maintaining is okay, or if I should be striving and pushing for more. . So. If that keeps nagging me, but I keep feeling like active change isn't healthy right now, I need to find another goal. I have been doing C25k again, but not hard core. Maybe this means I really jump back into it to get back to running. I don't really know. But I want to be open with you guys that this is weighing on my mind right now, and I don't exactly know where to go from here. . Thanks for reading my ramble and being there for me. 💕

My smartcake thief 👀 I’ve gotten so many new friends here lately (due to my YouTube video that’s at 2.4 million 😭 WHAAAAT) So I wanted to say thank you so much for the support. This is my typical breakfast I’ve been having since the beginning. My protein coffee. It’s 2 shots of espresso over ice + a carton of caramel premier protein. The caramel is currently discontinued (will be back in spring) but I also like the vanilla I just have to add another shot of espresso to balance the sweetness! I used to go to Starbucks everyday and then previously had a Nespresso machine.  #transformationtuesday, so woke up this morning to a message that I’m still fat, I mean 1. Hate that word anyway and 2. I thought I was used to that word after hearing it enough at school. For some reason it hit harder today, I find It really soul destroying that I put so much effort and determination in to loose 6.5 stone specifically 6stone 8.5 pounds and people still wanna call me fat. Happy Wednesday everyone🖤 it’s weigh day for me:) I always get questions about stalls or overnight weight gain and how I deal with it or even if I ever felt like throwing in the towel when I experienced them. The answer is yes, there have been times along the way where I felt like my work was for nothing because I didn’t understand the fluctuation I was seeing on the scale. I’m human, of course I wanted to give in when I would get upset about it and revert to my old ways because the scale wasn’t moving the way I thought it should. The thing is that I never quit on myself THIS time. I’d have pep talks with myself before I stood on that scale. I did lots of research on stalls to better understand my body and sort of calm down those worries I had about the crazy fluctuations I would see on the scale. Weight loss isn’t a straight forward thing. You don’t go straight from 353 to 174 pounds, you go up and down along the way. Yes, I’ve stood on the scale and freaked out, wanted to quit, cried and got mad at myself. I didn’t deserve ANY of that. And neither do you. Research stalls and weight fluctuations. Fluctuations are part of it. Stalls are part of it. Don’t be hard on yourself and DO NOT QUIT. I see a fluctuation on the scale now and I know what’s going on. They’re normal and they’re going to happen the rest of my life. Alright... this is HARD! Why is is hard to post? Because to be honest I want to forget that girl on the right forever! But.... I can’t forget her... I have to remember her... I have to remember how I felt... how uncomfortable I was... how dang unhappy I was!! I need to remember her so I never go back to her! Man! It’s been a journey! I started in June 2018... I’m not done yet! My entire life has changed I wish I can explain it but it’s within me... I love myself again. I’m comfortable in my own skin again. I have the most energy I’ve had in years! There’s times I don’t want to go to the gym but this will be my reminder of why I can never stop! I don’t feel sluggish anymore. I still love cheesecake 😂😂 but it’s a treat now and not something I go her because I want it.. smh! lol As hard as it is for me to share this I figured I would since I have so many people that support me and have followed my journey. This is just a progress report 70 lbs down! More to come. Because I’m honest and we’re all about full disclosure. Last night I had a moment and ate chocolate 🤦🏼‍♀️ - I beat myself up for a bit but I got over it, gave hubby the rest of the chocolate and moved on. Normally this would have turned me into turmoil and I would grabbed everything in site and just given up. - I’m super proud of myself for stoping, realising I’d messed up and getting straight back on it. - It takes a while to get rid of those demons and make new habits. Do we all need to take supplements? In my opinion, (mostly) everyone should be taking these critical supplements daily. Because our soil is depleted, even those who follow near perfect diets and feel WELL need a nutritional supplement boost. • • Vitamin d-3: I recommend taking 5000iu daily. Going on day #3 of this awful virus and I am beyond over it! If anyone wants to send some soup and a babysitter it would be greatly appreciated! I’m trying to teach myself that the best thing I can do in these situations is just REST and nourish my body instead of trying to accomplish as much as possible despite the circumstances, I just feel awful if I don’t get things done! We are often our own worst critics- which is why I’m the one beating myself up that the floors haven’t been mopped or that I haven’t made it to the gym...my husband or toddler haven’t noticed these things nor would they care. The mind is a silly thing! Hoping for a better day tomorrow and that this crap will make its way out of my family soon!

Day 4 of bed. Flu dragged me to the tears today. I think during all this cancer thing, the surgeries, the meds, the radiation I've been telling myself all is ok and been pretending all its ok. Trut is, I can barely stay up. My lega are like noodles and feel like theh will colapse at every step. It's not the flu 🤧 it's my cancer body. My healing body. I know things will get better but sometimes I feel there is no light at the end of the tunnel. Then I see people doing worse than I do and being cheerful and I feel a horrible person for collapsing when my situation it's not as bad. I just wish I could be ok for a week. One of the biggest mistakes someone can make is imitation. Of course it is flattering when someone asks you what type of training you do, or what your diet is like, or how you stay so motivated. But it is irresponsible to have someone built completely different from you to do what you do. Even worse is when people seek to emulate a celebrity or professional athlete. These people have a huge support team, money behind them and a singular focus for performance and/or aesthetics. I remember when I owned a Crossfit gym, people who wanted a stronger squat would just google “best squat program” and begin on “Smolov” a program designed for soviet strength athletes on tons of performance enhancing drugs. Against my words of wisdom many athletes ruined their backs and stalled their progress for years or even worse... a lifetime. I always say don’t ask me how I do it. Ask how you could do it. When I am taking on a new client now I am acutely aware of their goals, personality, lifestyle factors, training history and a multitude of other factors. It would be dangerous for me to tell someone to hit he gym 5x a week if they haven’t worked out in a decade. Or tell someone living off fast food to do intermittent fasting and Keto. While these people will sometimes achieve results in rapid fashion, they will quickly deteriorate back to where they started, or sometimes even worse. The problem is they followed a path not meant for them. For some people a few days of yoga or limiting yourself to 1 drink a day is enough to elicit incredible change. It is valuable to study world class performers and success stories. Learn valuable lessons from the journey of others and figure out how to structure your own epic story. It would be silly for me as a 38 year old fighter to adopt the training strategies of a 25 year old up and comer. Don’t copy someone else’s story. Write your own unique masterpiece! Do you have the winter blues? Similar to cuffing season! • Yeah it’s a thing, you don’t give yourself enough credit, your workouts are lacking, you have no creativity your depressed or stressed about something In your life and it puts a hold on your gym vibes/journey. • This used to be me every year around this time, call it unmotivated if you will. • Last year at this time it was because I didn’t have a job and I thought I had nothing to look forward too because I had no set schedule and I let the weight of stress and depression put more weight on me. And then that made me want to stay inside all the time and not let myself get up and go and see people and I’m usually a person where I need to be around people to get good vibes! • But this year, I’d recognized it early! And you know what I did? I put myself first, and took control of what I can control. I gave myself a schedule and a plan to work toward my goals I have. And I made sure I had an accountability partner to help me keep going and someone I could look to for advice. It’s really the little things that count. • If there’s anything I learned this far, it’s that it’s important to put yourself first and 🛑 being a people pleaser and get out of those winter blues! • Do you guys struggle with this too? Shoulder Dynamic Warm ups —> Dowel Rotations ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Can’t say how much I love to use the dowel. I’ve had my share of shoulder issues and these keep the joints healthy before pretty much every workout and on off days. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Try doing 5-8 rotations and feel your upper body loosen up ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣ 1️⃣ Keep arms straight and wider then shoulder width ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ 2️⃣ Bring the dowel over your head while keeping the core tight and chin up (if you can’t make it widen the grip until you can) ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ 3️⃣ Go all the way to your lower back and return to start with arms straight with tension in shoulders so you feel a stretch, repeat ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ 💥 The PVC costs about $3 dollars at a hardware store near you. First and last food post of the day! 😂 I've been at work all day so havent been able to post my meals however this one is quick, easy and low in points after a busy day! Another day finished below points and I will have earned some fit points along the way!
