Life's real failure is when you realize how close you were to succes when you gave up😇 Wednesday..may it be a blessed day⛄❤ . . . Vanavond weer naar Zwolle voor mijn opleiding. Gisteravond dacht ik pfff...wat een werk. Dat was echt voor het eerst..en direct de gedachtengang zal ik ermee stoppen..t vliegt me aan. Maar tegelijkertijd zijn er veel ergere dingen..bijvoorbeeld 36 weken lang chemo en daarvoor nog 6 weken lang elke dag bestraling😞..zo erg..heel veel respect voor iedereen die dit mee maakt ❤❤..dan duurt zo'n opleiding maar kort en dat doe je ook nog voor je eigen ontwikkeling. Ik ben dus ook in dubio wat te doen met Fitnesstrainer B. Deze start 2 weken na Fitnesstrainer A.. en duurt tm september. Wanneer ik me een periode rust geef..dan start ik pas in oktober. Maar dan zitten we in de grote drukte van het nieuwe huis. I have for as long I can remember always had a pinching feeling in my hip flexors when squatting. First of all its important to understand that the sensation of tension can be triggered by several circumstances. Tension can arise as a result of too much neural input from the brain as a bracing response for the certain joint. Manual therapy and end-range stretching might be an answer to this situation. Localized tension can also be felt as result of certain muscles beeing overly stretched out (imagine pulling a rubberband apart). In this case stretching will only worsen the symptoms as you’re trying to elongate tissue that already is at it’s end-range. Activation drills like the psoas march has had a major impact on my hip since implementing it regularly. . In 2 years of being on the fitness journey in general if you ask me what my biggest lesson is, my reply would be that you cannot cheat your way through it. . For those of us especially who have been obese our entire lives it’s a constant battle of the mind. A battle of sanity, of pushing yourself to do better than the previous. . Some days I can’t imagine where I would be right now if I never started. . 19 years old, 323lbs, pre diabetic, struggling to even walk up the stairs, blood pressure. I knew I deserved a better quality of life than I was giving to myself because of addiction to food and just living a sedentary lifestyle. I didn’t want anything to be an excuse for me not to “live my best life” and to me best life wasn’t about partying or doing the most. . My best life is being at my best physically, mentally, and medically . It’s almost the end of January. Don’t be that person who has given up on your new year resolution because you’ve not seen progress yet. Let this be a lifestyle and the only way you can last long is NOT to see working out or resting right as punishment. In actual fact it’s a form of self respect if you ask me💖
