Took this picture yesterday at 6am when I felt light and energetic and so in the mood to take a happy picture for you guys 🎉💐 THIS morning, still in bed, hormonal and bloated from the giant (seriously giant) pack of medjool dates I took down last night. 😂😴 Made me think, that is EXACTLY the kind of thing I would have felt super sh*t about when I woke up this time last year. Like, how dare you get mad hungry and give in to it!? So ridiculous. I probably hadn't been eating enough the past few days or it's the hormones. Bottom line, if you eat more one day it doesn't make you a bad person. Our bodies know what they need and if you're eating the right foods and are in tune with your natural hunger cues (very important) then if you feel super hungry one day, go eat all day. Another day you'll most likely not feel like eating very much (naturally). So relax a little and trust your body to decide. After 8 months eating this way I can tell you I do NOT eat the same amount every day and that's perfectly normal. What I'm saying is, if you eat whole natural food and don't restrict the amount you can eat, in time you can believe that if your body demands a giant pack of medjool dates at 9pm, it's doing it for a good reason. ✌️ Be happy, lovelies x

Life can be a shit storm at times! A plethora of variables and can leave you not knowing your arse from your elbow! But what you see in the gym a lot and when you chat to people is how they make the gym/training their CONSTANT! If life’s a bit bonkers then creating and cementing as many constants as possible is key! Shift the power in your favour! If you miss your sessions then all you do is stick ANOTHER, self inflicted, variable in the mix and then this often leads to destructive behaviours and the cycle gets (or seems) worse. Get you’re plan in your diary, sessions pre planned, get your gym clobber on & mould your constants. The more constants & routine you have, the easier the variables are to deal with and the power shifts to one of control rather than chaos. 💪🏼❤️💯  #gymtime

"Beef" Stew 6 cups vegetable broth 1 pack Gardien Beefless Tips (cooked) 2 carrots (chopped) 1 celery stalk (chopped) 4 potatoes (cubed) 1 medium onion (diced) 1 tsp garlic 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper How to make: Bring the vegetable broth to a boil then add carrots, celery, potatoes, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Cover the pot and turn the heat to low. Set a timer for 35 minutes. You can cook the "beef" at this time. Then when the timer is up check if the potatoes are cooked. Grab a ladle and place in a bowl, put in the "beef" tips.

Day 22: One of my biggest concerns was losing the size and strength I had before going completely vegan 🌱. Not only have I sustained these and still pushing the same weights as before, but also feel some differences as well. •Joint pains have reduced dramatically while lifting. •Energy levels have gone up. Less rest in between sets. •Recovery is a lot quicker. •Breathing is not so labored during workouts. I can’t complain with the overall results, but let’s wait and see if this sustainable throughout the course of the year.

Ok so this makes me DAMN excited for what is to come. It’s really hard to see the progress you’ve made when eating in a calorie surplus. You legit just feel like a blob (feels anyone?). .. I’ve been in a calorie surplus for over 7-8 months now. My main goal is to improve my shape and grow some glutes as I have a goal to compete again in Season B this year 🌟 .. The main thing I’ve learnt these past few years, is that you have to route for your damn self. If you don’t believe in yourself, then who will? Lately I’ve just been envisioning myself in New York competing. I truly believe that if you want something bad enough, just picture it and believe that you will get it! 👏🏻 .. The first photo is from roughly 8 months before my first comp. The second photo is from this morning, roughly 8 months till my next comp (🤞🏼) .. I’ve still got 4-5 months of gaining to do, and I’m more dedicated than ever. So let’s do it 🤜🏼🤛🏼

☝️ Just because it’s vegan, it doesn’t mean it’s healthy ☝️ - 🍕 Now I’ll be honest I love a couple of slices of vegan pizza here and there, I didn’t buy this pizza just for the photo 🐒 - 🍔 Some unhealthy food here and there isn’t going to completely ruin your progress. Everyone is going to have a different approach to their nutrition. If you completely despise take away food and you really enjoy your own cooking and that’s what makes you feel amazing, then go for it. - 🤗 If you like to eat out from time to time and the majority of your diet is clean, sure you may not be optimising your health to the fullest but hey, it’s ok to live a little. - ☝️ It’s still important to know what you are putting into your body and with any take out food it’s always the salt and oil that is the killer and this pizza is no exception. - ✌️ So find your balance. Don’t eat take out all the time and you’ll still be able to reach your goals and live a happy/healthy life!
