Happy Monday, fam ! Hit full body today but here’s some of the lower body exercises I did- 1. Weighted step ups - front loaded dumbbells for more core engagement. Make sure you’re stepping through your front hip and heel (not bouncing off bottom foot). Be sure to control your speed on the way down. 2. Kneeling Jump Squat (?) - power through hips and land soft on feet 3. Last weekend this lovely lass was the center of an incredible charity ride and brought everyone together for endless belly rubs and head pats. That’s right folks  @elliewestside was absolutely wonderful and even let  @izzilynn take photo with us. The deadlift is one of the fundamental barbell movements. Place your feet hip-width apart and have your mid-food under the barbell. Bend down to the bar so that your shins are touching it & grab with a shoulder-width grip. Lift your chest & tighten your abs and lats, to keep your back flat Brace your core further and stand up, raising your shoulders and hips at the same rate until you are completely upright. Grab your Axle and get deadlifting!

I’ve been obsessed with movement lately (or always 😘)..but by that I mean, obsessed with movement that is new to my body and challenges yet supports my body as a athlete and bodybuilder. Yes I lift heavy weights paired with functional strength training, BUT I’m a master teacher of classical/traditional pilates, barre and megaformer/Lagree method- I believe in the importance of cross training...MOVEMENT IS MOVEMENT and has NO RULES OR LIMITS- my active recovery from my intense training sessions with my performance and training coach  @sac511 and sessions on the Megaformer have been a hybrid of dance, barre, pilates, gyrotonics, animal flow, and yoga- my heart rate goes up but it’s more about a focus or opening up my body in a physical and energetic way. Being a athlete and a teacher of movement I must always be learning and teaching my own body and taking care of it. 🖤 after the students are away, this teacher always plays! ✨ stay tuned- I have tons of projects in the works where you can move with me!! . 💥SOME CURRENT 411 and exciting news!. • my special curated class THIS SATURDAY at  @sltnyc with  @thechicseries is full and WAITLISTED- but get on that waitlist!!. •come dance with me this WEDNESDAY  @equinox 5:30pm. •I’m going to be teaching a live class at  @lululemon !! I believe it’s so important to change up our fitness routine and have variety.
