Are you guys ready to CRUSH 2019? . . Every year I try to write down attainable goals for a few different categories to make sure I grow over the course of the year. My main categories this year are travel, savings, self growth, and fitness. . . 🍑 Here’s a look at my fitness goals for 2019: 1️⃣ Put on 8lbs of muscle 2️⃣ Increase squat (200lb x 3) 3️⃣ Increase hip thrust (300 x 3) 4️⃣ Increase chin-ups (10) 5️⃣ Increase pull-ups (8) 6️⃣ Decrease mile time (5:15) 7️⃣ Increase pushups (40) 8️⃣ Complete 4 windshield wipers . . Quick Tip: If you have a large goal like losing 40 pounds or gaining 10 pounds of muscle, try setting “along the way” mini goals. I like to set these for the 1st of every month so I can track my progress and hit those large goals by the end of the year. . . Reflecting on 2018: The beginning of this year was very stressful and led to a lot of “bad” weight gain for me. By June I started searching for ways to get back to feeling good in my own skin. I fixed my gut through nutrition and stressing less, which I owe to  @coachmarkcarroll. I also found  @laurensimpson who gave me the positive motivation and gym program I needed to have a better relationship with my body. They have truly helped me become a much better and happier version of myself. Looking forward to Lauren’s next challenge at the end of January and reading Mark’s Ebook over the next few days. Recent Instagram conversation . . Random over weight person on Instagram arguing with me about calories and flexible dieting being stupid - “ tracking calories doesn’t work because foods can sometimes have different energy values on MyFitnessPal and packaged foods are not always the exact same weight... oh and the stuff they put on boxes is not very accurate and some other stuff like that. It’s best to you eat clean only” . . Me - “ you’re an idiot” . . Guys..... you know what’s not accurate AT ALL??? Not tracking anything... . . Tracking does not need to be absolutely flawless every single day. We do not burn the exact amount of calories every single day either. . . However, tracking even if it’s within 100 calories of out goal is going to be so much more unbelievably successful than simple eating “clean” and not understanding the value of food you have. . . My recent intake of new clients last year I had 5 ladies tell me they were under eating and couldn’t lose weight...however, NONE of them were tracking religiously or really at all. . . They all told me they were eating around 1000-1300 cals a day with zero actual proof. They “thought” they were eating this much . . I then had them track everything for the first 2 weeks on calorie deficits of 1300-1600 ( I generally like to put a client near where they tell me they THINK they are initially to see if they are telling the truth). . . All 4 women who were now “eating more” lost 2-4kg in the first 3 weeks.... . . Do you know why they lost weight finally on “more food” . . Because they weren’t eating more food. They were just finally in an actual calorie deficit as they were now tracking EVERYTHING! . . What I do is not magic. its actually really really simple...It literally just requires caring enough as a client to track. . . Oh but tracking is too hard and complicated... no, you just don’t give a fuck!

Never mind the guy in the back... But hey! Guess who is back from their cruise? That’s right, this girl! I took the motto of  #liveguiltless to the fullest and had an amazing time. But now it is back to reality and back to eating lean clean and green. I realize me coming back from my cruise comes at a funky time in regards to  #lsfrefresh . We only have a few days left which makes it hard to jump back in. Bc of that I have decided to keep my good habits going over on my other page with the tiu love your body challenge. It was the first fitness challenge I did 6 years ago so it always has a special place in my heart. That doesn’t mean I’m leaving this page! Back to working out regularly and it feela so good! I went to the gym yesterday, got in a good cardio sesh followed up by a good arm workout! Don’t mind my crazy hair, I’m just chillin’ on the couch and way too comfy to move! • • I did have my green smoothie for breakfast and I’m starting to really enjoy making it a regular part of my day. I’m definitely feeling more energetic! When I got home from school I did the  @lovesweatfitness  @teamlsf Daily 10, and a couple exercises that will supposedly help me improve my speed when I can run again. Fingers crossed! I also shoveled the drive which was a workout in itself. Now my husband and I are ending our day with an episode of This is Us because we’re both obsessed. Got a few steps in this morning.... Story time: So everyone who knows me knows that I have a terrible sense of direction 😂 So, on my walk I decided to be adventurous and take a few different paths that i've never been on and well I got lost. Like the signs stopped happening and the footpaths became dirtpaths and there were lots of trees, it was basically a forest. I was lost for like an hour 😂 But on a positive, it was so quiet and peaceful. 10/10 would get lost again 😂🚶🏾‍♀️  #neleclairefit

Example of 1800 calorie meal plan and the fact your diet can be various, super yummy, filling, budget friendly and never boring! 🤤 . ➡️Breakfast - wholemeal bagel, half mashed avocado, feta, half cup blueberries, black coffee ➡️AM snack - quinoa tortilla, 1 Tbs peanut butter, medium banana ➡️Lunch - boiled egg, mashed kumara, half avocado, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, feta ➡️PM snack - peach, homemade nut trail mix ➡️Dinner - Baked salmon, low GI rice, veggies, 1/4 avocado Get those gains by combining training with a healthy meal plan 😀 because abs are made in the kitchen!! 💪 . .  #fitfood  #fitlife
