🔥What's actually difficult 🔥 - Follow  @dancudes ! - While working out is extremely important, nutrition is arguably 80-90% of your results when it comes to achieving any health and fitness goal. Ironically, it's usually the most difficult thing to control. When it comes to nutrition however, there are so many misconceptions out there about what to eat. Are carbs bad? When should I eat? When should I stop eating? Should I intermittent fast? How many calories should I eat? Etc. On top of that, even when you're eating whole foods and aren't following fads, there is always the temptations of friend and family gatherings and holidays and what not. Here is the thing, it's all about developing lifestyle habits. Eating healthy and working out should be a lifestyle and sustainable because you are focused on longevity and not short term fixes. Is it hard at first? Yes. Absolutely. It is hard at first, but you need to make goals because that's the only way you're going to make progress. Once it is a lifestyle, everything else becomes easy. You want to gain muscle? Great, we can manipulate some variables like caloric intake and protein needs. You want to lose more fat and peak out? Great, we can manipulate water intake, energy expenditure, electrolyte balances, and nutrient timing. It's all about making it a lifestyle. Do you agree? When I was 154kg I would walk up and down beaches with my top of not a care in the world(maybe it was a front I put on and put myself out there before others judged me !!) now I wouldn’t be caught dead with my top of on a beach,the one thing I struggle with is extra skin every pound I lose the stretch marks get worse and the skin looser,the amount of times last year that I got upset over it and lost sleep just isn’t worth it !! This year is all about building up my confidence and learning to love the skin I’m in...at the end of the day it’s just skin !! Anyone out there who ever struggles with body image just know that you are perfect and we’re all different and beautifully unique in our own ways 💜

👉🏼STOP LOOKING AT A NUMBER ON THE SCALES 🤦🏻‍♂️👈🏼 WEIGHT VS SHAPE We know that many come to Herbalife looking to ‘lose weight’. I have BAD NEWS for you.... Herbalife Nutrition isn’t a diet and our goal isn’t to help you change a number on the scales!! The goal of a typical diet is to restrict calories only to create a calorie deficit (consume less calories than you burn each day) and therefore ‘lose weight’. The outcome of this focus alone will be to drop the number on the scales BUT typically much of which from muscle mass.... leading to a decrease in metabolism (burning fewer calories) and feeling sluggish/lacking energy as you become deficient in many of the essential nutrients to fuel the body. For many leading towards a plateau (a point being where it becomes increasingly difficult to maintain a calorie deficit. The goal of Herbalife is to consume a healthy BALANCED diet, give what the body needs to fuel effectively daily and if the goal is ‘weight loss’ to also create a healthy calorie deficit.... this should be achieved by the above combined with an active lifestyle ✅. I read something that said there are two types of tired: one where you require sleep, the other you require peace. . I’ve been anxious and stressing out since Sunday morning and I’m TRYING to sort this ish out because I am NOT about it lol. Working out and getting out of my apartment for a lil date by myself has helped a lot today. I get v lonely sometimes since a lot of my friends are busy/graduated already which suxxx so my goal this semester is to meet new people bc ughhhh over it. . I forgot to upgrade yesterday. To be honest.... I was lazy so i didn't post. 😅 Yesterday was my first day in school, I'm tired already haha. We bought pizza and I was so hungry that I ate without thinking 4 slices and it tasted like GLORY. I don't like pizza but I was starving. I didn't feel that guilty yesterday but today.... I feel horrible. At least i did my wk yesterday. And today. I ate fruit. Feels Soo good. I ate: 1cup papaya, 1 banana and 1/2 apple. Total:200 Cal. I know that it's not EXACTLY 200cal but anyway. If I don't count it make me anxious. I haven't eat any else but i'm not really hungry. Drinking water really helps me to stop cravings. At first it didn't make any effect, but in a week of drinking a Lot of water it actually helps. I'm going to the movies later to see Glass. 😲NikkiB😳 here and this is a collage from 2006-2019. How times have changed. S3 have went through many Transformations through these years okay sleepy has grown into such a lovely young lady it's amazing how fast she's grown already. The hubby has gone through his own transformation as he has grown as well in many aspects in his life. And myself from being a brand new mom just still feeling like a brand-new mom LOL from being 290 lb to getting almost to my goal weight now. It still feels new because I am a first-time mom I do not have any other children so she is an experience a blessing sometimes frustrating as all kids can be and moms can be towards kids. But it's the best experience of my life that I can ever have from transforming to and your mom to the mom I am now into the mom I always will be I'll still be growing I'll still be trying to understand her and her understanding me but together as a family I'm sure my husband feels the same as a dad it is wonderful blessing we cherish very much is it Growing Experience that will never forget and that we never want to let it go. Can you get better, look better and feel better as you get older? I’d kept this old photo on the left as a reminder, my motivation. This wasn’t 2 years of fat loss or muscle gain as some months the goal was different, but in those 2 years Ive changed a lot of lifestyle factors which made my recent goal a lot easier. In the left photo I had pain daily with back/spine issues, (photo was for a posture assessment, hence the dots), I wasn’t making enough beneficial food choices, was sleeping a little less than now, and needed to adapt my training to my injuries. - The right photo is after 8 weeks of fat loss as that was my goal for the last quarter of 2018, and was still dropping fat as the end date was yet to come. Goal was lower than 9.5% body fat which was my result in May. One week after the right photo I achieved my goal at 8.4% body fat. You’re capable of getting the results you want and achieving your goals. Sometimes you get a small glimpse of your potential, a small achievement, but then maybe suffer a setback. You can get the result, you just have to be willing to sacrifice the behaviours, habits and situations that hinder your success.

My shirt has avocados on it. 🥑 - If I were to rate my eating for today, I'd probably give me a 7/10. I did pretty good and had little to no emotional impulses. I did mindlessly snack a bit, but that's okay. I'm just glad that I'm getting back on track. 😊 - Tomorrow is another fasting day. My last meal was around 4pm, so my goal for this fast is 40-41 hours.

I didn’t know that 1 in 5 suffer on a daily basis. Until I was forced to know to improve the quality of my own life and health. . If you think it’s normal to feel bad after a meal, that gas and bloating is just part of life, and that there’s nothing you can do - I’m here to tell you that’s BS. The answer is in your gut - or more likely it’s what’s not in your gut right now. I’d say comment below if this is you, but I know what a personal issue this is for so many of us. Today’s Pull session ✅ - 2nd set of 4 plates on the chest-supported TBar Row. Elbow drive is a lot smoother, just need to focus on keeping my chest against the pad on the concentric. Shoulder stability not too shabby, bar 1-2 reps towards the end. - Vertical pull movements were a LOT better today.
