Can’t stop these  #ultrainstinct vibes 🐒🐒🔥🔥 - Real talk for a sec though, I’ve come to terms with the ups and downs with living with a hernia. At first i wanted to rush straight back into surgery, something i actually knew fixed me for a short period of time however, recently after not only listening to others but to my body itself i learnt my recovery isn’t linear. Their are ups and downs and i gotta roll with the punches and just deal with it. Its just part of the game of trying to push yourself everyday 😁 i was forgetting one key aspect in all this...fuck life in general and that was PATIENCE!!! Yeah fucking patience 😂 we have forgotten that things aren’t instant these days. Recovery isn’t ‘instant’ results from your trainings aren’t ‘instant’ nor should they be! A life without learning how to reap the benefits after putting time and effort into something is meaningless in my opinion. You guys know I'm a big advocate for sprouts and especially wild herbs, which are the most nutrient dense plant foods on earth. . But their nutrient quality depends on the soil they are created on. And this goes for every food out there. . So you guys all know these lists with top 10 foods for specific nutrients and what not. That being said, it should be clear by now, that these plants/foods only have the tendency to be rich in a specific nutrient xy... . Everything depends on the soil. So guys you can image by now, that you can't compare the nutrient profile of organic and conventional foods. Organic is much better. And same goes for the comparison between organic and wild stuff, you pick in the forest for example. . This pic right here points out how much life exists in high quality soil. So Message for today is, we need to take care of our soils and pick high quality foods, based on this knowledge.

All progress takes place outside of the comfort zone ✨. Over the last week I've been to two gyms I haven't been to before. Might not sound like a big deal but I feel so awkward standing there trying to see what there is and where to go. I actually felt pretty uncomfortable the whole time I was there today. No idea why, somedays anxiety is worse than others I guess! So I did what made me feel comfortable and did a full body session on the machines I could see near me so I wasn't wondering around like a lost puppy 😂 physically, I didn't really feel like I pushed myself that hard today, but I reckon it's because I was focussing more on the mental side and made myself push through a 45 minute session in a new environment. Here are some hanging ab raise exercises that you can incorporate into your workout😬 . . . Hanging knee raises are the easiest on the list, but can be a huge benefit if done properly. When raising the knees, bring them up as high as possible to the chest so that your hips swing upward with them. Keep your body steady, avoid swinging. If it gets too easy, use a barbell between your legs or some ankle weights. . . . Hanging leg raises are up next. This variation is slightly harder. Keep your legs straight and toes pointed while doing this. Do your best to keep movements slow and controlled. Again, use a weight if needed. . . . Hanging bar raises are one of my favorites😁. Essentially, it’s the same movement as the leg raise, but you pass the L-sit position and have your ankles touch the bar. . . . Finally, I call these the Spider-Man raises. It’s the bar raise on steroids. It’s quite intimidating if you haven’t done it before as your body should be completely upside down. Even I myself was having issues with these. Basically, you want to get your body fully extended so that your body is perpendicular to the ground. This one requires both strong core strength and back strength. . . . My Goldilocks zone is 12-15 reps for 3-4 sets. Can you guess what I’m training today? 🤔 . . . Not long ago, I purchased a pair of parallette bars and I couldn’t be happier. After a few days of having ZERO idea of what I was doing 😂... I began to notice that I was slowly starting to gain strength in my shoulders and back. This newfound strength then translated to the rest of my body, especially my core. In the end, it has significantly improved my body control and mobility. I can now at least “attempt” those insanely intricate gymnastics maneuvers that I’ve always revered. When your body weight just doesn’t cut it anymore😅 add more weight 💪🏻💥 . . . Adding weight to calisthenics exercises is a great way to build explosive strength and power. . . . For extra resistance, I use the Harbinger dip belt with a steel chain. I aim for 3-4 sets of pull-ups x 10-12 reps with a 45lb plate and 2-3 sets of dips x 5-8 reps with two 45lb plates. Regardless if you’re using extra weight or not, I recommend doing a few sets of pull-ups, pushups, and dips during each workout. These basic movements offer compound engagement, which stimulates multiple muscle groups at once. . . . A great calisthenics routine that I usually perform is the 300 workout.
